Pokemon Starters No.1 by 8-BitBeadsStudio Pokemon Starters No.1 by 8-BitBeadsStudio
The original three amigos Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur. This is part of a set that I want to make of all the starters from the Pokemon games. So sit tight, more to come!

You made them look AWESOME!!!! Could I make these and the rest of the Starters that you have made? I didn't want to have to ask you on every picture of them. I would credit you. The shading looks great! :)

Of course. Thanks for the compliment on the shading by the way! I always strive hard to get it correct.

I always loved these bead pixel pieces. Would it be possible to show your process for the next one?

Actually yes. I'm in the process of recording an art-cast for a website so I think I'll make these three my next episode. Look for that coming soon.

Wonderful~! I can't wait to see.

If I may ask another thing, where do you get the beads from? I've been looking but most seem pretty pricey.

If you go to the perler beads page at eksuccessbrands.com and sign up for their newsletter they send you coupons through e-mail. That's always been a great help to me when I need to resupply.

Do you purchase them individually, or does the combo pack come with a good assortment?

I do individual colors. I just buy a lot more of the common colors like black, red, yellow, and blue.
